Rize-Artvin Airport is an international airport located in Rize. Since the Kaçkar 100K, 50K and 20K races start at Ayder Plateau in Rize, arriving at Rize-Artvin Airport (RZV) is a convenient option for students who want to be close to the start. However, convenient connecting flights for international travelers are from Istanbul, Ankara or Izmir.

Rize’ye yakın diğer havalimanı Trabzon Uluslararası Havalimanı (TZX) olup, Stuttgart, Dubai, Düsseldorf, Londra ve Paris gibi düzenli ulusal ve uluslararası uçuşlara yoğunlaşmaktadır.
Diğer bir seçenek ise Batum Uluslararası Havalimanı (BUS). Although Batumi is located in Georgia, Rize is a valuable option due to its regular daily transportation options to the city center.

To reach Ayder Plateau by bus, you can use Ayder minibuses, which depart from Rize/Pazar or Rize/Ardeşen minibus stops every hour until 5 in the evening. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.
